Kevin Potts14 April 2026Excellent service from Butler Consultants and Brian. They worked quickly, and accurately. There is a bit of "intake", which is good. They want your mission statement, vision, some financials, and everything else specific to your deal. They then conduct the market research, provide IBIS data, and put everything together in a cohesive way. Brian is also very responsive to corrections/suggestions, and that work was done very quickly and precisely. Models and the plan in general seem very suited for bank underwriting, everything is pretty smooth. Overall great experience.

My business plan looked very nice and very organized with all the information and projections. My mentor read it and he approved it as well. After our first phone call conversation I knew right away they were the right company to work on my business plan. They are very experienced and detailed oriented and provided fast turnaround time. Communication was great, and Brian was just a phone call away to answer any questions. We went back and forth with several updates due to changes I needed, and they were never hesitant, and changes were made within a couple of days. My business plan was completed to my satisfaction. I have now been able to secure the funds I need to get my business started.. I highly recommend Brian and his team (Butler Consultants). I will not hesitate to use them for any future ventures.

I have received many compliments on how professional and detailed it was. Over the last several months, I’ve had to make several changes to the plan, such as location or loan figures. Walid Bounenni17 May 2024I was struggling to find time and to figure out how to make my business plan, then i found Butler consultants online with good reviews, i gave them a call, Brian answered and made things simple for me and was helpful, i forwarded whatever paperwork that he needed and he got it done in couple days for a reasonable price, im happy with their work and the bank is happy with their work, i highly recommend Butler Consultants and i will use them again on my next businesses.

AJ Schultz5 December 2019The business plan turned out great. I presented it to several banks and to the cities Economic Development Director. Everyone said it was one of the best if not the best business plans they had ever seen. In fact the bank that was working with the SBA ask for their information when I told him how much I paid for it. The company they normally recommend for business plan writing is five times the cost and not as good as what I presented.

Three things were very important; strong financial modeling expertise, turnaround time and, a company located in the State of Texas. So, I came across a company called Butler Consultants located in Plano, Texas. I called Butler Consultants and I liked the fact that I was able to speak with the owner Brian Butler on my first phone call. Brian immediately impressed me with his knowledge as he explained the business plan development process so, I decided to take a chance. I hired Butler Consultants to assist me with my business plan which turned out to be a great choice. Terrible experience! They put absolutly zero effort in creating a authentic document. They ask a handful of questions and produce these pre built plans for you. They have a 30 changes time frame, but they doesnt account for their team to make changes which takes at least a week. If you ask to get the team writing the plan on the phone to walk through it they wont allow it. They literally make it so much harder than they need to. I would not reccommend this company, we pretty much made a donation to Butler Consultants then had to find someone to actually build a plan for us. TERRIBLE

Thomas Werney was provided changes to his plan without a problem. He requested changes outside the 30 day revision period and we still made those changes for him. They did take us 5 days because we were fitting him in for free and doing it outside the revision period. He also had changed a lot of the concept from what was provided in the first round and caused our team to basically make a 2nd plan for free. Our contract states that we need 3-5 days to make changes. He refused to provide notes in the plan and demanded to instruct each item over the phone. This was very hard to follow his concept changes but we did our best to please him.Posted on Google

You may find a cheaper service but this is your brand, your business, and your livelihood. Pay for quality. It'll pay for itself in the long run.
